00 / THE DOOR THAT SHOULDN’T BE HERE

Down the
rabbit hole.

Strange problems. Useful software.

I’m Mark Ward. Mack to family and old friends.
I build things across product, data, and infrastructure.
Curiosity tends to get out of hand.

“Curtsey while you’re thinking. It saves time.”

01 / THE LOOKING GLASS

COLD & HONEST

A good mirror
shows its edges.

Data can inform a decision. It shouldn’t quietly make it for you. I build systems that keep their evidence, limits, and human handoffs in view.

SIGNAL
What do we actually know?
BOUNDARY
What must the system never assume?
HANDOFF
When should a person decide?

A little doubt is a useful instrument.

02 / THE EVIDENCE ENGINE

PERSONAL PROJECT / LIVE & OPEN SOURCE

Laces Out.

A fantasy football app that knows your league—and shows its work.

I built Laces Out to sync your league, run auction and snake drafts, and help with weekly roster decisions. Forecasts have to earn their place; AI analysis is optional.

OPEN THE APP

Down the rabbit hole. Back with something useful.

03 / THE IMPOSSIBLE GARDEN

Ideas need
hands.

I shape the product, build the system, and stay for the unglamorous parts that make it work.

“The best way to explain it is to do it.”

SELECTED PROFESSIONAL SYSTEMS

Report Alchemist

PRIVATE ACCESS

Live platform data into review-ready PowerPoint decks, inside the templates teams already use.

Precursor

PRIVATE ACCESS

A media-insights workbench for turning monitoring data into reports, with validation and human review built in.

04 / THE SIGNAL MIRROR

OPEN & LISTENING

Have a strange
problem worth
following?

Good. The door stays open.

I’m always up for sharp ideas, useful experiments, and projects with a point of view.

Based in Dallas. Usually somewhere between a terminal,
a prototype, and a Red Bull.

“You may have noticed that I’m not all there myself.”
